About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Infusion Center team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care for patients undergoing treatment for solid tumor cancers, lymphomas, chronic leukemia, and other hematological conditions. This position requires expertise in administering chemotherapy and managing patient care in an outpatient oncology setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other infusions safely and effectively.
• Manage central lines and ports, ensuring proper care and handling.
• Monitor patients for side effects and intervene appropriately.
• Provide patient education and support for treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Perform specialized procedures including bone marrow aspirations and intravesicular chemotherapy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in infusion therapy or outpatient oncology required.
• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• BLS and ONS/ONCC certification required; ACLS and OCN preferred.
• Previous Charge RN experience is preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
• Candidates must pass a compliance EKG exam prior to start.

Schedule

• Day shifts, 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (08:30 - 17:00, 09:00 - 17:30, or 09:30 - 18:00).
