About the role
We are seeking an Outpatient Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in chemotherapy administration. The ideal candidate will provide nursing care to adult patients receiving chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments in an outpatient setting in Philadelphia, PA.
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments to patients.
- Provide care coordination and patient education related to oncology treatments.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage side effects effectively.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients.
- Maintain accurate documentation and charting using Cerner.
Requirements
- Valid Pennsylvania RN license (Single State or Compact).
- At least 1 year of nursing experience in oncology or outpatient infusion settings.
- Current BLS certification.
- Completion of the ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Course (may be obtained prior to start).
