Job Details
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, mostly from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Shift start and end times will vary, with no call responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid license to practice;
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA);
- minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- High preference for nurses certified in chemotherapy.
Additional Information
- Must pass a pass/fail exam during orientation with a 90% passing score.
- Fingernail policy prohibits artificial nails in patient care areas.
- Candidates must comply with a 50-mile radius rule; a driver's license will be used to confirm eligibility.
- No facility, hospital, or employer names are included; references to organization are generic.
- Position involves handling around 50 patients per day with a staff of approximately 6-7 RNs.
- Tasks include infusing chemotherapy, antibiotics, blood, iron, fluids, and administering various injections.
- The hospital can cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment or three shifts for shorter assignments.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
