Travel IMU RN - $2,212 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Step Down Unit in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This is a 13‑week contract position starting ASAP, requiring 36 hours per week (12‑hour night shifts) with weekends scheduled as needed. The nurse will provide care to typical step‑down patients, including post‑myocardial infarction, post‑operative vascular, GI bleeds, and DKA.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality nursing care to step down patients.
• Titrate drips as required, including Nitroglycerin, Neo, and Cardene.
• Read telemetry strips for all monitored patients.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors as needed.
• Assist with the orientation of new staff in the unit.

Requirements

• Current ACLS certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current NIHSS certification.
• Valid RN license.

Qualifications

Strong experience with critical step‑down patient care.
