Travel IMCU RN - $2,110 per week

About the role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Stepdown/PCU assignment in Kankakee, Illinois. The contract runs for approximately 13.14 weeks, beginning November 16, 2026, with a schedule of 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Titrate IV drips as required by the unit.
• Serve as charge nurse – team lead during the day and charge nurse on nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Float to ICU for PCU‑level patients or to med‑surg for a full assignment when needed.
• Work 5 p.m.–5:30 a.m. shifts, every other weekend and holiday required.

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license in hand.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum one year of recent stepdown/PCU experience.
• EPIC charting system experience.
• ACLS and BLS certification.
• Positive attitude.

Qualifications

• BSN not required.
• Preferred travel experience.
• ICU experience considered a plus.
• First‑time travelers welcome.

Schedule
