Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Weirton, West Virginia.
Unit Details
- 30-bed Stepdown/PCU unit
- Patient Ratio: 1:4–6 (based on acuity)
- Shift: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM / 7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
- Every Other Weekend required
- No call required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Stepdown/PCU experience
- Active RN license
- BLS & ACLS required
- Comfortable with cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Comfortable with cardiac drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Angiomax
- Comfortable with telemetry strip interpretation and documentation
Additional Information
- Travelers are expected to float to other inpatient units as needed
- 50-mile radius rule applies
- A copy of your unexpired driver's license is required at submission
- Any license disciplinary history must be disclosed at the time of submission
- Navy blue scrubs
- Orientation includes 2 days of general orientation and 1 day with a preceptor
