Travel IMC Stepdown RN - $2,272 per week
About the role
Malone Healthcare is seeking an experienced Stepdown / PCU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Weirton, West Virginia. This role is on a 30-bed Stepdown/PCU unit with a patient ratio of 1:4–6 based on acuity.
Travelers are expected to float to other inpatient units as needed, and a 50-mile radius rule applies. Orientation includes 2 days of general orientation and 1 day with a preceptor.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in a 30-bed Stepdown/PCU unit with 12-hour shifts (rotating days/nights)
- Work every other weekend
- Interpret and document telemetry strips
- Manage cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Administer cardiac drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Angiomax
- Float to other inpatient units as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Stepdown/PCU experience
- Active RN license
- BLS & ACLS certification
- Unexpired driver’s license (copy required at submission)
- No undisclosed license disciplinary history

Schedule
- 13-week assignment starting ASAP
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, rotating)
