Travel IMC RN - $2,588 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Intermediate Care (Progressive Care Unit) position in Marquette, Michigan. This is a 13‑week travel assignment requiring 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action whenever information from monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.

Requirements

• ACLS, BLS, NIH certification.
• Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds routinely; up to 50 pounds when moving or lifting patients.
• Good stress‑coping skills and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
