Travel IMC RN - $2,240 per week

About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Madison, Wisconsin. The assignment is a 13‑week travel contract with 36 hours per week. Shifts are 12‑hour shifts; the posting notes both night and day shift possibilities, with scheduling to be discussed in the interview.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for intermediate care (IMC) and general medical/surgical patient populations.
• Perform arrhythmia identification and be prepared to pass telemetry competency upon arrival.
• Work in a Level I trauma center surgical trauma unit, maintaining nurse‑to‑patient ratios around 1:3.
• Adhere to ACLS guidelines and unit protocols.

Requirements

• Current RN license and PCU/Progressive Care Unit specialty.
• Recent acute medical or surgical experience; IMC experience required.
• If coming from ICU, must be willing to care for IMC and general care patients.
• ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience; preference for experience in an Academic Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Completion of at least one successful travel assignment.
• Arrhythmia identification experience and ability to pass telemetry testing on arrival.
