Travel IMC RN - $2,219 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Intermediate Care position in Baltimore, Maryland. This is a 13-week contract role focused on post-operative care for vascular, kidney, and liver transplant patients.

Schedule

• 13-week contract starting 08/31/2026
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:30)
• Blocked weekends on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Required to work every third weekend

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments
• Monitor vital signs, weight, fluid balance, and graft function
• Perform hemodynamic and neurovascular assessments
• Monitor surgical sites for bleeding or infection
• Evaluate graft function and administer medications (pain control, immunosuppressants, anticoagulation therapies)
• Monitor labs, urine output, fluids, and electrolytes
• Identify complications such as thrombosis, graft dysfunction, and rejection
• Teach medication adherence and self-administration
• Coordinate post-transplant care with the healthcare team
• Provide psychosocial support and patient/family education on lifestyle adjustments

Requirements

• 2 years of Intermediate Care (IMC) experience (required)
• Transplant experience (required)
• Active Maryland RN license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
