About the role

We’re seeking talented healthcare professionals for a travel nursing position in Madison, Wisconsin. This role is at a large, Level I teaching hospital in southern Wisconsin with a Surgical Trauma RN need for an ASAP start. Positions are available in the ICU and related units/specialties. Shifts are 12-hour straight days, with scheduling details to be discussed during the interview. Several 13-week travel contracts are available.

Responsibilities

• Care for IMC and general care patient population (if ICU experience, must be willing to care for this mix)
• Work in a high-acuity environment with nurse/patient ratios in the 1:3 range, depending on unit
• Identify arrhythmias and pass Telemetry competency upon arrival

Requirements

• 2 years of acute care experience
• IMC and recent acute medical or surgical experience required
• ACLS certification required
• Experience in an Academic Level 1 Trauma Center preferred
• Completion of at least one successful travel assignment
• Arrhythmia identification experience

Pay

Estimated pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours, distance traveled, and customizations available for travelers. Includes a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
