Travel IMC RN - $2,124 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Intermediate Care Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Hagerstown, Maryland. This is a 13-week contract position with night shifts (3x12-hour shifts, 18:30 - 07:00).

Responsibilities

• Float between Med/Surg and IMC units as needed.
• Provide care for patients with conditions such as acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, and myocardial infarction.
• Manage patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:6.
• Demonstrate proficiency in monitoring telemetry and managing complex patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols, including infection control standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry experience in a hospital setting.
• Minimum of 2 years of IMC experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Recent Epic experience is required.
• Flu shot and 2-step PPD are mandatory; no exceptions will be made.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with strong Epic experience and comfort in floating between Med/Surg and IMC units. Recent and relevant experience with a variety of patient conditions is required.
