Travel IMC RN - $2,121 per week

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC), with additional responsibilities in Orthopedic and Rehabilitation units. The ideal candidate should have the capability to float between the IMC, Ortho, and Rehab departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, bowel obstructions, and general medical/surgical conditions.
• Monitor and manage patients, ensuring adherence to treatment plans.
• Administer medications and assist with treatments as per physician directives.
• Floating between IMC, Ortho, and Rehab departments as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Ability to float between units is essential.
• Covid-19 vaccination required, with medical/religious exemptions allowed.
• Flu vaccination required, with medical/religious exemptions allowed.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shift: 12 hours, nights
