Travel IMC RN - $1,959 per week

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Intermediate Care Unit (2 West) specializing in neuro stepdown and cardiac telemetry care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care on a 24-bed IMC unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for adult patients in the IMC unit.
• Administer medications and monitor patient reactions and vital signs.
• Perform procedures such as IV starts, port access, PICC line care, and blood product administration.
• Manage respiratory care, including trach management and non-invasive support.
• Conduct assessments and care for gastrointestinal management, including feeding tube management.
• Utilize telemetry monitoring for dysrhythmia management and cardiac assessment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an IMC, stepdown, or telemetry setting.
• Active South Carolina or multistate RN license.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• One year of EPIC EMR experience required.
• Ability to float to other units as needed, and performing tasks for which competencies have been documented.

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30), Every Other Weekend, 36 hours per week.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
