Role And Responsibilities Provide comprehensive critical care to ICU patients, including assessment, monitoring, and operating life-support equipment. Administer advanced medications and treatments, interpret hemodynamic data, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Document patient conditions, responses, and interventions accurately, while collaborating with healthcare teams. Educate patients and families about care and recovery, adhere to infection control, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures and follow safety protocols. Qualifications And Skills Recent ICU RN experience and valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.Current BLS and ACLS certifications; CCRN and other certifications preferred.Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients; visual acuity and sensory communication skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure, follow instructions, and adapt to irregular activity schedules. Key Duties Assess, monitor, and respond to critically ill patients' needs.Operate advanced life support and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.Record and communicate patient status, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.Provide patient and family education, and work closely with interdisciplinary teams.Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and participate in ongoing education.
