Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive critical care to ICU patients, including assessing, monitoring, and responding to patient condition changes.
- Operate advanced life-support equipment and administer complex medications.
- Perform and interpret hemodynamic monitoring, ensure patient safety, and address physical and emotional needs.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
- Educate patients and families about treatments and recovery.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional duties within scope, following safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- One year of recent ICU experience.
- Valid RN license per state regulations.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to move and handle equipment.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and PC skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle irregular activity schedules.
- Visual acuity and effective communication skills.
