Travel ICU RN

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care to ICU patients, including assessing, monitoring, and responding to patient condition changes.
• Operate advanced life-support equipment and administer complex medications.
• Perform and interpret hemodynamic monitoring, ensure patient safety, and address physical and emotional needs.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately.
• Educate patients and families about treatments and recovery.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties within scope, following safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• One year of recent ICU experience.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to move and handle equipment.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and PC skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle irregular activity schedules.
• Visual acuity and effective communication skills.
