Travel ICU RN

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care to ICU patients, including assessment, monitoring, and operating life-support equipment.
• Administer advanced medications and treatments, perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient conditions, responses, and interventions accurately, and communicate with healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and families about treatments and recovery.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures and technologies.
• Assess and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Operate advanced life support equipment.
• Record and communicate clinical data accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients/families.
• Follow safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• One year of recent ICU experience.
• Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to move and handle equipment and patients.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and using PC technology.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
