Travel ICU RN

About the role

The Travel ICU RN provides critical care in an intensive care unit, assessing and monitoring critically ill patients, operating advanced life-support equipment, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions
• Manage complex medications
• Interpret hemodynamic monitoring
• Ensure patient safety and comfort
• Document interventions
• Educate patients and families
• Adhere to infection control
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Skills

• Requires at least one year of ICU experience
• Valid RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Preferred certifications: CCRN, TNCC, NIHSS
• Must demonstrate critical thinking, communication, technical skills, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively under pressure
