Travel ICU RN

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive critical care to ICU patients, including assessment, monitoring, and operating life-support equipment.
• Administer advanced medications and treatments, interpret hemodynamic data, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Document patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Educate patients and families.
• Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties within scope, following safety and regulatory protocols.

Requirements

• Recent ICU experience and valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; CCRN and other certifications preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to handle equipment and move within high-acuity environments.
• Proficiency in reading and writing in English, technical skills, and sensory acuity.
