About the role
Assess and monitor critically ill patients, operate life-support equipment, administer advanced treatments, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort in high-acuity ICU settings.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient conditions and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring
- Administer complex medications and operate advanced equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation of interventions
- Communicate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Uphold safety and infection control protocols
- Provide patient and family education
- Participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- One year of recent ICU experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Demonstrated critical thinking and strong communication skills
- Physical ability to handle equipment
- Resilience under pressure
- Effective teamwork and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- CCRN certification or other specialized certifications
