Travel ICU RN

Role: The Travel ICU RN provides critical care in an intensive care unit, assessing and monitoring critically ill patients, operating life-support equipment, administering advanced treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams. Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions, administer complex medications, manage advanced life support devices, ensure patient safety and comfort, record clinical data, interpret hemodynamic monitoring, educate patients and families, communicate with multidisciplinary teams, maintain proficiency through ongoing education, adhere to infection control protocols, participate in quality improvement, and perform assigned duties within scope. Qualifications & Skills: Requires at least one year of recent ICU experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred certifications include CCRN, TNCC, NIHSS. Essential skills include critical thinking, communication, physical stamina, technical motor skills, and the ability to work under pressure, with visual acuity and interpersonal effectiveness.
