Travel ICU RN - $3,172 per week
Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an ICU - Intensive Care Unit assignment in Hays, Kansas.
About the role
This 13-week travel assignment begins on October 12, 2026, with a 12-hour day shift and a total of 48 hours per week. The role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience, including IV starts, and involves weekend rotations. First-time travel nurses are accepted.
Responsibilities
- Accessing/managing ports
- Arterial line management
- Assisting with chest tube insertion/removal
- BiPAP/CPAP management
- Blood product administration
- Care of ventilated patients
- Central line care/management
- Managing chronic/acute renal failure
- Continuous IV sedation
- Floating within scope to meet facility needs
- Working holidays as required
- Caring for adult and geriatric patient age groups
Requirements
- Active ACLS, BLS, and CPI certifications
- Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience (IV start required)
- Travel experience required
- Pending licenses not accepted
- Must meet the 60-mile radius rule for locals
- No block scheduling greater than 3 or 4 shifts
- Negative 13-panel drug screen within 30 days
- Willingness to float if another unit is short-staffed
- Previous charge experience preferred
