MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified ICU/CCU Registered Nurse for a 13‑week travel assignment in Carmichael, California. The position involves 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts, starting October 27, 2026, with a top healthcare client.

Responsibilities

• Manage care of adult patients with life‑threatening conditions requiring complex assessment and high‑intensity therapies.
• Provide patient care, education, and support to families.
• Ensure proper functioning of life‑support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for signs of distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures to control rapid changes in patient condition.
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care ICU setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
