About the role
The Intensive Care Unit provides direct care or influences care for acutely and critically ill patients who are at high risk for life-threatening health problems. The ICU delivers care through advanced knowledge and experience in an environment that emphasizes intensive monitoring, assessments, and interventions.
Requirements
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required
- Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS certification required
- AHA ACLS and NIHSS certifications required for GSR ICU-CCU positions
- PALS and TNCC certifications preferred
- 3 years of previous ICU experience preferred
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent is required due to the College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing
Schedule
- Shift: Nights (1900-0730), rotating weekends
- Holiday coverage is required
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts
