About the role

This is a travel nursing position in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for a MICU (Medical Intensive Care Unit) unit. The schedule consists of 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Apply professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
• Organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
• Maintain good working relationships with other employees.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
• Utilize basic computer skills in performing job duties.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in ICU nursing.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program (Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred).
• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (American Heart Association).
