Travel ICU RN - $2,382 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN position in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. Assignment duration is 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. The facility is a Level 1 adult trauma center and Children’s Hospital serving upstate New York and parts of Vermont.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult ICU patients in an 18‑bed unit with private rooms.
• Operate bedside monitors with remote viewing, mechanical ventilators, and other critical care equipment.
• Document care and organize testing/procedural data using EPIC Clinicals Electronic Health Record.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PCAs, HUCs, nurse managers, respiratory therapists, pulmonary critical care physicians, fellows, interns, residents, and students.
• Participate in the Critical Care Float Pool, floating to other critical care units and step‑down ICU as needed.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Specialty experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
