MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an ICU/CCU position in Charleston, South Carolina. The assignment starts on October 12, 2026, lasts 13 weeks, and requires 48 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. MedPro is a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency that places nursing and allied travelers in top healthcare facilities nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of adult patients experiencing life‑threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies, and interventions.
• Provide patient care, education, and support to the patient's family.
• Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for signs of distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures to promptly control changes in patient condition.
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care ICU setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
