Travel ICU RN - $2,334 per week

About the Role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois. This assignment lasts 15.14 weeks and is scheduled to start on September 28, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care in the ICU (no nurse aids/patient care techs available)
• Care for sedated, ventilated patients
• Titrate vasopressors, sedation and pain control drips
• Manage PEG tube care/feedings, CVC/PICC/Midline usage and care, tracheostomy patients
• May be required to float to MS unit

Requirements

• Licensure: Active Illinois (IL) license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
• Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• Clinical Experience: Acute care setting
• BSN is not required

Skills

• Experience with PEG tube care/feedings, CVC/PICC/Midline usage and care, tracheostomy patients
• Caring for sedated, ventilated patients
• Titrating vasopressors, sedation and pain control drips
• Common titratable drips: Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl, Versed, Lasix, Insulin, Amiodarone, Nitro, Levophed, Dopamine, Cardizem

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
