Travel ICU RN - $2,271 per week

About the role

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience to join our team. The RN will work night shifts and provide high-quality care to critically ill patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Manage and administer medications and IV therapies per protocol.
• Provide direct patient care to individuals experiencing multisystem organ failure.
• Utilize telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms for all telemetry patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management strategies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Current New York State RN License.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience.
• Experience with Allscripts EMR is preferred.
• Strong skills in interpreting dysrhythmias and administering vasoactive drips.

Pay

The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
