Requirements

• 2+ years in a staff ICU position (minimum), not including travel assignments, preferably at a Level 1 trauma center
• Cardiac experience required
• Surgical ICU experience required
• Neuro ICU experience required
• Experience floating to a variety of ICUs highly desired
• Must be comfortable and competent caring for ICU patients in the following environments: neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, progressive critical care unit (PCCU), and ICU/PCC patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement

Unit specifics

Critical Care has 100 beds across 5 units:

• Surgical/Trauma/Neuroscience ICU (B2) – CRRT, intracranial pressure catheters, EVD, spinal drains, brain oxygen monitoring, Arctic Sun, continuous EEG, non‑invasive cardiac output, vents
• Medical ICU (MICU) – CRRT, Arctic Sun
