Travel ICU RN - $2,242 per week

About the role

We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to provide care for trauma, surgical, and neurological patients in a fast-paced ICU setting. This travel nursing position is located in Albany, New York, with a start date of 10/05/2026 and a duration of 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU setting.
• Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions based on patient needs.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition promptly.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to protocols.
• Document all nursing care provided and patient responses accurately and timely.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of ICU staff experience, specifically in trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU.
• Must have Trauma Level One experience.
• Valid RN license and active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Competency test completion required within 24 hours of submission.

Schedule

• Shift: 12 hours, days (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
• Hours per week: 36
• 48 hours per week may be accepted.
