About the Role
Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Mount Clemens, Michigan. This position follows a structured clinical interview process, ensuring candidates receive timely communication and feedback. Candidates can expect to be contacted within two hours, typically receiving decisions by the end of the same day or the next business day.
Responsibilities
- Assess the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients.
- Plan and implement nursing care that addresses the unique needs of patients and their families.
- Make informed interventions based on individual patient requirements.
- Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions and adjust care as necessary.
- Assume responsibility for the quality of patient care, overall patient satisfaction, and personal professional development.
- Direct, coordinate, and delegate activities to provide patient- and family-centered care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
- Completion of at least one travel assignment.
- Experience primarily in ICU; floating to CVICU is preferred.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Active Michigan nursing license at the time of application submission.
Qualifications
The Registered Nurse delivers exceptional patient care through the application of the nursing process and works collaboratively with a healthcare team to uphold the standards of professional nursing practice. The role involves carrying out responsibilities in line with hospital policies, the mission of care, and established regulatory guidelines.
Important Policies
- Strict attendance policy: Any Registered Nurse contractor absent from a scheduled shift or arriving more than 20 minutes late for three shifts will be terminated immediately, with exceptions for documented situations like illness or hospitalization.

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
