Travel ICU RN - $2,219 per week

About the role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the ICU in Peru, Illinois. Assignment starts October 12, 2026, duration approximately 13 weeks (13.14 weeks), 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive care nursing in accordance with AHA cardiac arrest guidelines.
• Manage central line care, arterial lines, and bedside bronchoscopy.
• Titrate vasoactive and sedative infusions (e.g., cardizem, propofol, amiodarone, norepinephrine, presadex).
• Care for patients with sepsis, ARDS, ARF, cardiac dysrhythmias, postoperative complex care, overdose, and behavioral health complexities.
• Float to Medical‑Surgical units in Peru and Ottawa as needed.

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license or evidence that the application process has been initiated.
• Current ACLS and BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• BSN not required.
• Demonstrated ICU experience with the diagnoses and interventions listed above.
• Ability to work 12‑hour night shifts, every other weekend and holiday.
• Compliance with OSF Drug‑Free Campus policy (negative drug screen).
• If residing within 50 miles of the facility, a local rate adjustment applies.

Skills

• Central line and arterial line management.
• Bedside bronchoscopy.
• Titration of drips: cardizem, propofol, amiodarone, norepinephrine, presadex.
• Knowledge of AHA cardiac arrest protocols.
• Experience with sepsis, ARDS, ARF, postoperative care, overdose, behavioral health.
• Adaptability to float to Med‑Surg units.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined; estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems per GSA rates.

Schedule

12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week; required to work every other weekend and holiday; may float to Medical‑Surgical units in Peru and Ottawa.
