Travel ICU RN - $2,191 per week

About the role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) in Salem, Virginia. This travel nursing position offers a hospital‑based ICU RN role designed to meet today’s workforce needs, with support from VyTalent Solutions throughout the assignment. Start date: 11/02/2026; duration: 12 weeks (contract length noted as 13 weeks in the posting).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the ICU environment, following unit protocols and best practices.
• Monitor and record patient conditions, including use of medical equipment such as Belmont, Baxter Pumps, and Hillrom Call System.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Meditech EMR system.

Pay

Pay range: $2,096.44 – $2,201.26 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined).

Schedule

Night shift: 19:00 – 07:00, 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
