About the role

13-week travel nursing position in the ICU - Intensive Care Unit (ICU Neuro/Trauma/Medical).

• 1 opening available
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Shifts: 0600-1830 and 1800-0630 (12-hour shifts, days and nights)
• Weekend hours: every third weekend (days: Sat-Sun or nights: Fri-Sat)
• Call requirements: may be placed on call once every 4 weeks
• Float requirements: yes

Unit Information

• Number of beds: 17
• Patient ratios: acuity adaptable from 1:1 to 1:4 for combined acuity
• Equipment: vents, IV pumps, CRRT, Bipap, ekos, chest tubes, etc.
• EMR: Epic
• Type of patients: neuro/trauma/medical ICU, stepdown progressive care, medical overflow

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Must have certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH (TNCC or TCAR preferred)
• 3-5 years of experience required
• Must pass facility cardiac rhythm knowledge test with 90% or higher
• Critical care experience required
• Preferred experience: step down/progressive care, TCAR or TNCC
• Personality fit: hard worker, punctual, reliable, outgoing
