Job Details
- Shift: 12H Nights
- Total Weekly Hours: 36
Required Experience
- 3 years of recent ICU experience (must include either neuro or CV)
- Experience in Level 1 trauma center, trauma cases like falls, GSW, blunt trauma, MVAs
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in a similar size unit ICU
- Level 1 experience or neuro experience preferred but not required
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSST (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to titrate drips such as Propofol, fentanyl, versed, precedex, morphine, dilaudid, ketamine, rocuronium, levophed, vasopressin, cardene, labetalol, dopamine, dobutamine, heparin, and insulin
- Ability to interpret own tele monitor strips (GE monitors)
Additional Requirements
- UNA Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48 hours prior to acceptance
- Pass/Fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation
Other Information
- BSN not required
- RN license required for submission
- Expectation to float between Surgical ICU, Medical/Cardiac ICU, and overflow ICU
