About the Role
Malone Healthcare is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for the ICU - Intensive Care Unit at Franciscan Health Indianapolis in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a 13-week contract position with a target start date of 09/21/2026, offering 36 hours per week on night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM).
Shift & Position Details
- Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12 hours, 36 weekly guaranteed hours)
- Position Type: Contract (13 weeks)
- Staffing Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3
- Unit Details: 30-bed Adult Intensive Care Unit (AICU) treating sepsis, respiratory failure, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psych disorders
- Equipment: Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismax, EV 1000
- Charting System: Epic
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs (no hoodies or non-Franciscan sweatshirts)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend commitment (Friday and Saturday nights)
- Float Requirements: Floating required to other inpatient areas when the home unit is low census
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessment and care for ICU patients
- Manage care of septic patients and mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices (CRRT and Epic experience preferred)
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS
