About the role

Travel Nurse RN – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) assignment in Mechanicsville, Virginia. The position is a 13‑week travel contract starting on 09/28/2026, working 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and treat patients with acute cardiac conditions.
• Administer medications and support critical interventions.
• Document all patient care using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Provide compassionate care throughout patient recovery.

Requirements

• Active Virginia RN license.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Recent experience in coronary care or critical care nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Social Security Number and date of birth required.
• One professional reference covering the entire work history.
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility (locals may not apply).
