About the Role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Yakima, Washington.
Responsibilities
- Provide intensive care nursing in the ICU unit
- Manage chest tubes, wound vacs, dressing changes, and monitoring femoral arterial sheaths
- Care for patients with CHF, respiratory distress, ACS, A-fib RVR, DM, and CVA overflow
- Administer blood products and manage bipap
- Handle post-cath patients (TR bands and femoral approach; travelers will not pull femoral sheaths)
- Care for surgical patients (vascular, abdominal, GI, etc.)
- Manage drips including diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, nitro, and heparin
Requirements
- Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit
- Discipline: RN
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, nights
- Skills checklist within 12 months
- Reference dated within 12 months
- Previous travel experience required
- Preferred: Art line, Impella and/or IABP experience

Pay
Pay rate: $2009.00 - $2134.00 (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined)
Schedule
