Travel ICU RN - $2,068 per week

About the role

Travel Registered Nurse – ICU position in Chicago, Illinois. Provide critical care to patients in the facility’s surgical intensive care unit within a Level 1 Trauma Center environment, supporting patients with complex medical and surgical needs. Start date ASAP; night shift (12‑hour) available.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intensive care nursing to critically ill patients in a surgical ICU.
• Monitor and support patients with complex medical and surgical conditions in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Float across multiple ICU units and occasionally to medical‑surgical units as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to implement care plans.

Requirements

• Active Illinois RN license.
• Recent ICU nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Qualifications

• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems recommended.
• Ability to adapt to floating between ICU and occasional med‑surg units.

Pay

Pay rate: $2,016.00 – $2,120.00 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Assignment length: 13 weeks. Hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12‑hour nights (available shifts: 12 N).
