Required Experience & Skills
- Required Open-Heart Experience: CABG, Post-op valve, Impella, IABP, CRRT
- Patient Ratios: 1:2 Critical Care / 1:3 Intermediate
- Certifications: AHA BLS & ACLS
- License: Valid Ohio RN license
- Education: ADN or BSN
- EMR: EPIC experience required
- Skills: Vents, NIH, IV starts, ICP, conscious sedation, telemetry/EKG interpretation
- EKG: Online EKG/dysrhythmia competency assessment required within 72 hours of signing
Schedule & Shift Details
- Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and minimum every other holiday
- RTO: Up to 14 days; must be submitted upfront—no RTO after offer
- Floating: Traveler is first to float; may float within specialty clusters or to nearby Premier facilities
- Modules: Up to 24 hours of orientation modules are billable
- Block scheduling is not guaranteed
Additional Requirements
- Local travelers not accepted; 50-mile radius rule
- Cancellation: Facility may cancel up to 2 shifts during a 13-week contract due to low census
