Travel ICU RN - $2,050 per week
About the Role
Travel nursing position for an RN in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) in Anderson, Indiana. Assignment duration is 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.
The Medical ICU is a 20-bed mixed ICU/Step Down unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2:1 for ICU patients and 3:1 for Step Down patients. Floating to the sister unit 5S is required to care for Step Down (1:3) or progressive level patients at a 4:1 ratio. Weekend and holiday rotation commitment is included.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a 20-bed mixed ICU/Step Down unit.
- Manage ICU patients at a 2:1 ratio and Step Down patients at a 3:1 ratio.
- Float to sister unit 5S to care for Step Down (1:3) or progressive level patients at a 4:1 ratio.
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotation.
Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) and includes a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
