Travel ICU RN - $1,965 per week

About the role

Join our team as a Travel Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (RN-ICU) in Memphis, TN. The facility is a 30-bed critical illness recovery hospital located on the fourth floor of a major hospital. It specializes in helping critically ill patients regain independence in breathing, speaking, eating, walking, and thinking. Services provided include care for cardiac conditions, infectious diseases, medically complex cases, neurologic conditions, pulmonary and ventilator liberation, renal disorders, wound care, and brain injury.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive care nursing in a critical illness recovery unit
• Manage vents and trach for long-term acute care recovery patients (average length of stay: 28 days)
• Titrate critical drips including Dopamine and other typical ICU drips
• Maintain patient ratio of 1:5 (unit tries to keep ICU to 1:4)
• Work 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week for a 13-week assignment

Requirements

• 2 years of ICU experience required (LTAC ICU or ICU experience needed)
• Vents and trach experience required
• Active RN license (Compact accepted; copy needed)
• BLS certification (copy needed) by start date
• ACLS certification (copy needed) by start date
• Date of Birth required
• 1 reference in entire work history

Pay

Pay rate: $1916.00 - $2014.00 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
