About the role
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and manage complex patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- Monitor and assess patient condition, administering necessary treatments and medications.
- Manage ventilated patients and perform advanced procedures as required.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in the Cerner charting system.
Requirements
- Active RN license in PA or Compact license required.
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience is preferred.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS must be current at the time of submission.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
- Cerner charting system experience is preferred.
Schedule
- 13-week contract position.
- 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, rotating (night and day shifts).
- Possible shifts: 19:00 - 07:00 or 07:00 - 19:00.
