Travel ICU RN - $1,849 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an ICU/Intensive Care Unit assignment in Dallas, Texas. The assignment begins 11/02/2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 6‑hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage care of adult patients with life‑threatening problems requiring complex assessment, high intensity therapies, and interventions.
• Provide patient care, education, and support to patients’ families.
• Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for signs of distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures for prompt control of changes in patient condition.
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care ICU setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.

Pay

Weekly pay and direct deposit are provided; the pay package is based on 6‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
