Travel ICU RN - $1,694 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU for a 13‑week contract in Chattanooga, Tennessee, starting 10/19/2026. The position requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with self‑scheduling and 3‑4 weekend shifts per schedule. The role calls for a strong background in critical care nursing, managing a patient load of 2:1 to 3:1, and skill with ventilators, IV drip titration, arterial line management, intubation, and central line insertions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer treatments as necessary.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment to support patient care.
• Collaborate with medical teams to implement effective treatment plans.
• Deliver bedside shift report following BSSR guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
• Teamwork skills are essential.
• Ability to support new graduate RNs.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in ICU specialty

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
