About the role
This is a 13-week travel contract position for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry. The assignment begins on 08/28/2026 and lasts 18 weeks, with a schedule of 36 hours per week on day shift (3x12-hour shifts, 07:00 - 19:30).
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, maintaining accurate patient records.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide optimal care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Current Permanent Ohio license or Compact state license at the time of submission.
- One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the nursing specialty.
