Travel ICU RN - $1,569 per week

About the role

Deliver critical care to patients in a hospital serving a vibrant South Texas community. Work with advanced technology and a multidisciplinary team to manage high-acuity cases and support patient recovery.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive care nursing in a 13-week travel assignment
• Work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
• Manage high-acuity cases in the intensive care unit
• Support patient recovery using critical care protocols
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact eligibility
• At least 1 year of recent intensive care unit (ICU) experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Social Security Number required for submission
• Date of Birth required for submission
• Work history should not have more than 90 days of gap in the last year

Preferred Qualifications

• Meditech EMR experience
• Acute care experience
• Strong teamwork and effective communication skills
• Familiarity with infection prevention and quality assurance

Pay

• Pay rate: $1,530.00 – $1,608.00 per week
• Based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
• Tax-free stipend amount to be determined
