Travel ICU RN - $1,503 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse for an ICU - Intensive Care Unit assignment in Duncan, Oklahoma.

About the role

This 13-week travel assignment begins on September 10, 2026, with a 36-hour work week consisting of 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Accessing/Managing Ports
• Arterial line management
• Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal
• Blood Product Administration
• Care of Ventilated Patient
• Central line care/management
• Management of patients with chronic/acute renal failure
• Continuous IV sedation
• CVA/Acute Stroke management
• GI surgery care
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) management
• Infection Prevention
• Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• IV insulin protocols
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
• Phlebotomy
• PICC line management
• Post Cardiac Surgery care (directly from the OR and not directly from the OR)
• Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention care
• Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring
• Sheath Removal
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Suctioning (ETT, NT)
• Surgical Intensive Care Unit care
• Titrate Cardiac drips
• Titrate Vasoactive drips
• Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD) management

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in ICU nursing
• Active RN license in Oklahoma or a compact state
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, CPI, NIHSS, and ISTAT certifications
• Experience in a community hospital setting
• Previous travel nursing experience
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Experience with Meditech charting system preferred

First-time travel nurses, those with pending licenses, or pending references are not accepted.
