Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $3,590 per week

Job Summary

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Wichita, Kansas. This role involves providing specialized critical care to patients in a 26-bed coronary care unit. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to hospital policies and clinical standards.

Required Qualifications

• Current acute care hospital ICU experience with at least 1 year
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications in submission packets
• No RTO or special scheduling requests accepted

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Meditech EMR experience
• Previous travel experience in large ICU units

Unit Information

• CCU Coronary Care Unit with 15 staff members on each shift, including RNs, charge nurses, and patient care technicians
• Typical skill set: Travel RNs, local CNAs, and sitters; candidates without these skills will not be considered
• Typical procedures performed on unit: Heart catheters, balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia protocols, cardioversion, central lines, and medication drips
